OH! The places YOU will go:

You know that funny feeling you get at the top of your tummy when there is an intense situation on the forefront?  That tingly sensation just below your lungs?  At times it is likely present for confirmation of good, at  times it is a warning sign to head the other direction.  How many times have you listened to it when it was a warning?  How many times have you patted yourself on the back when it was for a job well done– butterflies, if you will?  Do you ignore that feeling?  Are you sensitive to that feeling?

For me, that spiritual tingle is my advisor.  It is God’s way of guiding me through the holy spirit he has provided to me.  I take time to stop and “test the tingle” when making decisions.  There is good anxiety and anxiety of warnings for caution ahead signs.  If you take time to question yourself, whether in a high-energy phase of life– or one of those ever-famous “waiting” chapters.  Your spirit is installed to move you, if you open yourself and allow it to.

There have been many times in my thirty-one years on earth in which I have not listened to that tingle– that spiritual sensation.  Sure enough, egg was on my face at the end of the day.  Maybe it was a parking ticket, a tow bill,an accident of some sort; a missed assignment or meeting, a missed chance at something “great” or that next “big thing”… ???

Whatever the case had been when I did not listen, I can tell you that I was left scratching my head wondering why I did not simply listen when the answers were apparently provided to me through the tingle, my holy spirit– God.  Each day I grow older and wiser and have a covenant with my spirit– that tingle in my tummy.  It is to follow what my brain and spirit agree is the best decision as if God were standing over my shoulder.  No explanation required– my spirit is moving me and I feel the Lord is leading me; so, I go that way.  Not my way….

So, will you make a promise to yourself to listen to your spirit– to your tingle?  We are all constructed and pre-made with it intact.  It is up to each of us to activate it and maintain our respect for it.  When you allow your spirit to move you, the places YOU will go are unlimited.  The world is your oyster… go out and get it!

THIS! Is how it feels to have my resident insurance license transferred to the state of IL.  Who knows what the future holds, but I know that I am in forward motion.  Just when you think you know what is going down, the Universe says “oh, really?  Watch this…!”  Now, I hear beaches in the future– I hear sky scrappers funneling the wind tunnels at night.   Only GOD knows what his sealed orders are of me.  I am here to serve and enjoy the ride in the meantime.  Life is an adventure, and the all the world is a stage…
